THE FARMHOUSE OPENING IS TO BE DETERMINED

THE FARMHOUSE

ABILENE’S HISTORIC RESTAURANT

OUR STORY

For over 80 years, The Farmhouse, formerly Mr. K’s Farmhouse, has been serving Abilene residents and long-distance travelers with quality dishes reminiscent of its hometown charm. It started in 1939 as Lena’s ‘farmhouse on the hill’ and quickly became a town favorite amongst locals – including its most famous resident, Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Today the restaurant is known as The Farmhouse. While it has experienced different ownership over the years, it has remained one of Abilene’s most beloved eateries for its exceptional service and delicious menu. Stop into The Farmhouse and experience a true hometown welcome from plate to stomach.
